What do Music & Songs mean to you? |
Music was always there in my heart as heart beat from my childhood as my parents
were fond of semi classical & classical Bhakti Sangeet. As I grew, I developed
my test in almost all sort of music ranging from light music to semi classical and
Bhakti Sangeet to Bollywood songs & as a Barodian I can proudly say that I could
sing world fame unique style of Garba, my small contribution to spread the glory
of Baroda and virtually of Gujarat. |

Have you taken any professional training for singing?

In Baroda, I learned classical vocal, in faculty of performing arts for two years,
yet could not complete four years training. |

Who is your idol from Indian Music Industry? |
Kishore Kumar is Idol for me as he was truly a blessed artist, much more than just
a singer. |
Which is your lifetime favorite song & why?
In the month of October 08, I received a momento from legendary music composer
Mr. Bappi Lahiri for being in top three of singing competition "Tribute
to Kishore Kumar"
"Mere Mahebub Qayamat Hogi" from film Mr. X in Bombay,
sung by Kishore Da, is my all time favourite song as it was the first song of my life which
I performed live on stage & got cheered up hugely.
What is your preference for singing, old songs or new songs and why?
I prefer to sing old songs as those songs are immortal & melodious & they
