Hello all Everybody!!! My name is Priti Acharya and I am from India.

I was born in the city of Baroda and I brought up in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Right now, I am in Toronto, Canada.

What do Music & Songs mean to you?

Music and Songs means a lot for me. This interest has been devoloped from my childhood. Music is my life.

How were you inspired to sing?

Actually it is from hereditary and I used to sing from my childhood. When I was in school I used to participate in all cultural programs/activities and I won lot of prizes in past. It’s just my hobby!!!

Have you taken any professional training for singing?

No I haven't taken any professional training. My voice natural.

Who is your idol from Indian Music Industry?

Actually my idol is Lataji and Ashaji because they have thorough knowledge of music and they really know what music is.

Which is your lifetime favorite song & why?

My lifetime favorite songs are a lot. But "Dum Maro Dum" from "Hare Rama Hare Krishna" sung by Ashaji is my most favorite song.

Besides that, I like rock songs and I love singing.

What is your preference for singing, old songs or new songs and why?

My preference for singing is towards old songs because those songs are meaningful and very touchy. New songs just come in market and then disappear but old songs remain fresh forever in market.
